Andie Long - Founder & President

Andie has spent over 15 years working with a diverse range of organizations in the areas of global development, finance, technology and healthcare.

Prior to starting Thistle Strategies, Andie served as Senior Communications Officer at Mercy Corps, a global humanitarian organization. She developed and led global communications campaigns to heighten the organization’s profile and advance its fundraising and advocacy goals. Her focus included social innovation, corporate partnerships, and programming throughout the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Before Mercy Corps, Andie spent close to a decade at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, a leading strategic communications firm, where she managed media campaigns for bioscience and healthcare companies that were seeking to diagnose, prevent, and/or treat cardiovascular disease, cancer, and a range of infectious diseases and genetic disorders.
